  • Provide internet or cable services directly
  • Guarantee service restoration (we provide guidance only)
  • Perform physical equipment repairs or installations
  • Access your service provider accounts on your behalf
  • Act as an authorized agent for any service provider

3. Independent Third-Party Status

Smart Choice Internet operates as an independent business entity. We have no affiliation, partnership, authorization, or endorsement relationship with any internet service provider, cable company, or telecommunications organization. We are not acting as a representative, agent, or affiliate of any provider.

Any service plans or services you may choose to purchase based on our guidance are transactions directly between you and your chosen provider—not with Smart Choice Internet.

4. Service Fees

4.1 Assistance Fee

Smart Choice Internet charges a separate service/assistance fee for our technical support guidance. This fee is clearly disclosed to you verbally before services are provided. By proceeding with our assistance after fee disclosure, you agree to pay the stated fee.

4.2 Fee Separate from Provider Costs

Our assistance fee is completely separate from any costs associated with your internet or cable service. You are responsible for paying your service provider directly for their services. Smart Choice Internet's fee covers only our independent assistance and guidance.

4.3 Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as disclosed during the call.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Follow our guidance and instructions carefully
  • Not use our services for illegal purposes
  • Not misrepresent your situation or technical issues
  • Treat our assistance agents with respect
  • Pay all fees owed for services provided

6. Limitations of Service

6.1 Guidance Only

Our service consists of guidance and troubleshooting assistance. We cannot guarantee that every issue can be resolved through phone guidance alone. Some problems may require physical technician visits, equipment replacement, or provider intervention.

6.2 No Provider Authority

We have no authority to activate, deactivate, modify, or restore services with your provider. Only your service provider can make changes to your account or service status.

6.3 Technical Limitations

Certain issues (such as physical line damage, broken equipment, or provider-side outages) are beyond our ability to resolve and require direct provider action.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

7.1 No Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our guidance will resolve your specific issue, as outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Choice Internet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or service interruption
  • Loss of business or revenue
  • Cost of substitute services
  • Any damages resulting from following our guidance

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7.3 No Responsibility for Provider Actions

We are not responsible for the actions, policies, service quality, billing practices, or service interruptions of any internet or cable service provider.

9. Call Recording

Calls to our assistance line may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution purposes. By using our phone services, you consent to call recording.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Smart Choice Internet and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution
